SeaCart 30 One-Design Class Rules

The SeaCart 30 rules are currently being formulated with the intention of establishing and maintaining a strict one-design class. The rules will ensure uniformity of construction through tightly controlled building tolerances, and simple, accurate measurement techniques.

The objective of the rules is to provide fair racing in as identical boats as possible. A primary consideration of the rules will be to keep the cost of competing in the SeaCart class affordable without compromising the high-performance characteristics of boat.

The administration of the rules will be determined by the SeaCart 30 class association; including representatives from the builders, sail-makers and most importantly sailors and boat owners. The active participation of class members will ensure development of the rules in a manner that best promotes the classes’ growth and participation in accordance with future needs.
